muddy brown, frothy beige head, funky musty aroma with a hint of dark fruit, fruity mat flavor that kicks in with some tart cherry and then turns sweet, the flavor could stand up but the funky sour milk aroma kills it

22oz bottle shared courtesy of zrrbrrt. Poured a darker and cloudy amber / brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of dark fruits, apples, caramel, yeast, and some spices. Tastes follow with some citrus thrown in. On the sweeter side.

Sampled on 2/3/07 courtesy of TheBeerCellar2: Pours a transparent copper mahogany with a thin ring of tan head. Aroma has some complex fruity oakiness with sweet bready biscuity malts. Body starts fairly full and earthy caramely sweet with nice light tart fruity balance and oaky cherry complexity. Good authenticity and very enjoyable.

Bottle courtesy of alexsdad06. Pours a reddish brown with a thin tan head. Smells of roses, candy, plums, figs, prunes. Taste yields touches of tartness, wood, some caramel, hints of bitterness and touches of spice. Very slight lactic quality as the beer warms. Interesting.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this. Dark brown beer, thin white head. Arom ais quite spicy, cinnamon, coriander. Toasted bread, cherry, peppery alcohol, soft raisiny malts and a bit of tartness. The flavour is quite tart as well with a bit of earthy malts, chewy sweetness and a light leathery character over the sweet plum/prune. This may be infected, but it makes it pretty interesting.

New draft at Dilly Deli in Cincy. Poured a hazy brown with a small creamy light brown head that lasted. Good malty fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Full flavor of allspice, cinnamon, clove and a good black cherry tone at the finish. Welcome back!

Dark brown body with mahogany edges with some light and a light yellowish khaki head. The aroma has some perfume with sweet notes of pear and Belgian funk. There is also bubblegum and a little hint of melted plastic. The taste has some old leather and tart apples. There is also some paper and plastic hints. A heavy body, but smooth feeling. There is definitely something wrong here with the tart character. Too salty.

Poured a hazy brown color with a hint of ruby and a small beige head. The aroma was fruity with some light tart cherry, cherry licorice, and sweet malt underneath. The flavor was sweet and fruity with more tart cherries. Had that cherry medicine taste but with out the medicine component.
