Commercial Description:
Early Cincinnati brewers shipping their beers into Tennessee would generously hop their beer to prevent spoilage during the long, arduous trip over the Cumberland Trail. It’s been said that few barrels ever actually made it into Tennessee, as they were traded away for coonskin caps or simply enjoyed along the way! This classic India Pale Ale is a somewhat fruity brew, with an aggressive hop finish. To the hopheads of the world: we’ve brewed this one for you!

A decent APA. Aroma was a little weak. Grassy hops mostly. Pour was a nice medium gold with a 2 finger off white. Taste was decent. A minimal malt backbone that the hops dominate in the aftertaste. Funny but a half hour after I had this I had a sweet taste in my mouth. Not a standout but not bad.

The bottle poured golden clear amber with off white quickly dissipating head. I smell pungent hops, like citrus rinds, and caramel aroma. Bitter grapefruity flavor wit nice palate and a medium finish. Very tasty but too weak for an IPA.

Bomber courtesy of alexsdad06. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of biscuits, citrus, tea, some pepper. Tastes of resin, some doughy malt, hints of pepper and spice. Finish is bitter. Mouthfeel is caramelly.

Bomber from West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma malt and only a slight hop presence. Medium sweet and barely any hop presence. Medium body. I boo this beer, "boo!!!" Better than the last beer I had from them though.

Bottle, pours a clear copper color with an off white head. Malt and moderate hops, nothing, not much hops, malt is a bit sweet and medium. Nothing fantastic but its ok.Ok texture.

Bottle: Pours with a fizzy head. Aroma is of caramel malt, peppery hops (hallertau/saaz), and a toasted sweet biscuit character. Highly carbonated, get creamier as it sits. Not much hop depth, rather a peppery flavor. The finish has a light roasted hint when it warms. Nothing standout, just decent.

Copper/amber with a frothy off-white head. Caramel malt, citrus zest, biscuit. Medium body, rolling carbonation. Slightly sweet with a touch of hops bitterness. Not bad but nothing special.

Bottle- Moderate head and lacing. Plenty of flowery hops aroma. Easy on the palate, not overly hoppy, makes a great session beer.
