Commercial Description:
In the old days, runners who made it to third base were rewarded with a mug of beer. This is the way the game was meant to be played; pitchers throwing side-armed and a half barrel on the field. Asa Brainard, the pitcher who led Cincinnati's first professional baseball team to the World Championship in 1869, was paid $1,600. The beer must have been good! Our RedLegg Ale is an American style red ale, the kind you'd find in the hop country of the Pacific Northwest. This deep red ale is a has a great big hop flavor and a slightly sweet finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy rusty amber with a thick quickly dissipating head. Aroma was sour and malty. Taste was sour and biting.

One of the most under rated beers I’ve ever seen. Classic red flavor, and not too sweet.

Old bomber, obviously got infected at some point. Hazy caramel red pour with explosive billowing head... five fingers maybe, but so thick and full that it stood an inch out of the glass without a single drop of spill over. Nose is strawberries and plastic. Subtle strawberry flavor with big sour character. Finishes medium to dry with fruity after taste. This isn’t what this was supposed to taste like at all, but I kinda enjoyed it.

Bomber. Slightly hazy dark orange and amber body with a yellowish khaki head. The aroma is like sweaty armpit with lots of pine behind it. There is also a lot of what I consider crystal malt character, but I could be wrong. Almost like incredibly sweetened homemade candy. The taste is fairly sweet with some caramel and iced tea. There is also a nectarine character. The hosp is not nearly as strong in the flavor as it was in the nose. A decent amber, but thing, even for the style.

Nice inviting scent with a dark red/brown color. Very nice fruit and hop mix that balance eachother well. Easy to sit back and enjoy.

Bottle from deftim13. Thanks Tim! Pours with a medium off white head. A hint of sweetness. A lighter beer in general. Decent pizza beer.

Pours a nice looking red color. Nice sized off white head with some lasting power, no lacing. Aroma is malty with some sweetness. Taste is the same...malty with a hint of sweetness. Let it sit awhile before another taste and you will get just the slightest suprise hint of roastyness. Decent for the style.

The hops are pretty prominent. I would have liked some balance from the malt, especially more intensity from the raisin and toffee flovrs, but those were dominated by a thin, grainy sweetness. Nice color, but thin mouthfeel.
