| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2002 Hazy dark golden straw. Sticky, dense alabaster head. Minimal carbonation. Grapefruit rind, orange peel, pine needle aroma with a floral aspect as well. Bold and crisp and immediately toasty with a citric, pine needle hop balance. Moderately bitter. Dry and very clean finishing. Assertively hopped but nicely balanced as well. Medium light body. Very quenching. Finishes with a showcase of Cascades, though tame when compared to some versions, and a dry malt toastedness. A great session brew.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2009 My Bottom Line:
This American Pale Ale offers citrusy, spicy hops that tend to outshine the lightly toasted malts in a lean vehicle chock full of leafy bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam sits atop the dark golden.
-Like all of the beers I had there that day, this was "rustic" tasting. Just a tad dirty, if I may say so.
-The smooth carbonation helps drinkability.
-The hoppy finish was probably my favorite moment in each sip.

Citrusy, orange & grapefruit, something else I couldn’t place. Hazy golden orange color, small to no head. Bitter flavors, like aromas with a honey dew addition. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Nice east to drink pale ale
