Nov 13, 2006 Nice brown color with some spicy stuff in there. Malt and spice. Malt and spice. This is a good beer to have in the fall...that could be why it’s an octoberfest type of beer.

Nov 13, 2006 22oz bottle. Lighter brown color. Spicy aroma reminiscent of autumn. Nice mix of hoppy characteristics and the malty. Not too in-your-face, yet not too wimpy or watery like their other beers. Pretty good.

Sep 20, 2003 Just introduced to the brewery menu today, or so I was told by the barman. Medium reddish amber color, a little lighter than some in this style that I am used to. The flavor has that characteristic malty sweetness, but it's quite subtle. A little hoppy bite, but not much at all. Smooth drinking, yes, but nothing overly exciting. Had that same "woody" quality of the Brown Ale I tried.
