Bottle. A geyser! Golden with a BIG head of foam. Aromas are sour fruit, especially oranges and berries, with spices, pepper and butter. Flavours are fruity, sour and medicinal. Has caramel malts for its base with citrus, especially oranages. Not as good as I expected. Perhaps the bottle was tainted.

Bottle conditioned, from The Beer Cellar Lincoln. Faintly hazy gold, big fluffy white head that soon thins and slight gushing on opening but otherwise good condition. Alcoholic and fruity nose with a touch of apple and gentle hop resin. Strange gentle fruity tartness in the mouth, more alcohol and a yeasty bitterness that lingers into the finish. More hops noticable at the end with a gentle perfumed citric note.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a slim white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, orange peel, malts. Very hoppy flavour. Very dry, with a fruity dry and slightly sour finish. Full bodied. A very good English, English strong ale.

Hazy orange beer, quite carbonated to dense, orange head. End of bottle full of UFO’s. Slightly sourish nose, fruity, citrus, preserved citruspeel, and cookie malt. Bit of Brett-impression, and the finish are fine, dry hops. Very dry-hoppy flavour; good one! This is as well English as they come. Flowery and grapey aroma’s. Very citrussy finish, chalky-dry. Not overly dense or sticky, but a firm body, refreshing enough and a "finished" feel. Nice one. Big thanks to my BSF-pal Mat W!
