Mid brown very malty some alcohol and a slight hop finish. bsjay (54), Oregon, USA Oct 15, 2009 Thin, a bit metallic, yet good with food and a nice go-to beer when you find yourself in an establishment that is not so beerticulate. rosenbergh (843), Helsinki, Finland Apr 12, 2009 500 ml can. From Cardiff, Wales.
Copper colour with thin white head.
Malts, hops and caramel with some spices in aroma. Grainy malt flavour with bitterness and some metallic taste as well. sm89walt (433), Norwich, Norfolk, England Mar 19, 2009 Can. Dark copper in colour, creamyish white head. Slightly herby hop nose with a caramel maltiness. Sweet and fruity flavours and a metallic edge with a decent bitter finish. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. There’s nothing wrong here; it’s a solid British bitter: uncomplicated and to the point, but lacks anything of real interest. markas101 (541), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Mar 17, 2009 50 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Light brown colour, thin head, faint hop and spice aroma. Mildly carbonated, smooth with a nice deep finish, spice and warmth. altonbrownd (1862), Amsterdam, Netherlands Mar 13, 2009 Bottle in London. Copper body with thin head. Fruity and spicy nose. Nice caramel and spicy tastes. A great beer that I will always return to. Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA Oct 5, 2008 an old standard, all in all its got medium malts and low hops but it gives a great presence of history. little bit of caramel make this well worth your time. JonnyDr (132), , South Yorkshire, England Oct 1, 2008 Deep copper coloured pour with thin creamy head. Caramel and spices leads to hops, grain and malt. A bit thin but OK.
