Sweet and fruity, medium bodied. With it’s mushy mouthfeel, the stale boiled vegetables and it’s lacklustre overall character it does nothing to convince of seeking it out again. fonefan (11888), VestJylland, Denmark

Still a very good session beer. Enough flavour to keep you coming back for more, without being overwhelming. Good minerality. Some caramel, some hop, some yeast. Always found it hard to pin down Bass. Bit of sweetness, bit of lemon citrus. Or was that the girl’s perfume? DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Looks a bit like in the photo to the left, except it doesn’t glow quite as much and the head dissapeared very quickly. Aroma was of grainy butterscitch and some earthy green hops, smelt a bit stale. Quite bland on the palate, dry, and stale. Grainy, with some citric hops. Slightly rusty. imdownthepub (5177), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Classic orange amber with solid soapy head, it has to be the best looking beer ever!. I wished it drank as good as it looks, still popular, but the chalky sulpher is no longer there, there is a sweetness and a dry hop, but I want more from this. Was once my favourite, now no longer so sadly.
