Light brown color with virtually no head. Malt is the predominant flavor and a bit of caramel. Very thin mouthfeel and pretty bland. So many better options.

Bottled. Dark Iced tea colored body, crystal clear, small head with poor retention. Faint English yeast ester aroma with mild toasted grain as well. The flavor has a bit of sweet tea, and is a little metallic. When I first had Bass back in high school, I didn’t like beer at all and though that it had a dry, old sock flavor. Well, surprise surprise, I can still taste that. The after taste leaves a cottony astringency that dries out the mouth. Light bodied overall, with medium carbonation and that slick, astringent feel. This really is a pretty bland, not quite pleasant ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown with a decent white head that fades some. The taste is of caramel, malt and is somewhat sweet. Fairly bitter. The aroma matches the taste. A pretty good beer as it is tasty and very easy to drink. Is a nice treat to have when it is on sale and is pretty nice to have when it isn’t.

Bottle bought at the State Store in Murray, Utah. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head that goes down to next to nothing. The aroma is sweet malts and some caramel The taste is pretty smooth; a semi-sweet malt base with some nutty and fruit flavors. Pretty light, but easygoing and unoffensive. Decent.

Bottle pours clear golden/copper with thin white head. Aroma is malt and hops. First taste is sweet malt then slight hops bitterness. Really well balanced. Watered down a little which makes for a clean finish. Verry underated pale ale.

The beer pours a light amber with a thick white head. The nose is light; mixed of fruity and dry spice. The pallet is watery. The taste is light with malts some hops and light spice. I very underwhelming beer.

A nice amber colow with a finger or two of white head. Very floral hoppy smell. The hops hit the tongue to up front, but the malts balance it out nicely. The beer left my mouth a little dry. Definately a solid ale, I’d love to drink a few of these in a sitting. Serving type: bottle
