Pale amber-copper colored bubbly body with a healthy white head. Nutty caramel spicy nose with crisp malt notes. Sharp biting carbonated mouth feel with a sweet and bitter balance that is quite welcomed. Finished smooth. I imagine this is what the original pale ales were like in England.

Not too bad. Taste better when its really cold. Has a good malty taste to it. Kind of flattens out quickly. First sip is better then the last. More or less an average pale ale.

8/22/07 From the bpttle. Aroma is lightly roasted, caramel malt forward with a low earthy hop character. Appearance is medium copper with a medium off-white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward with a balance of earthy, slightly resiny citrus hops. Some fruity esters are evident. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with medium carb feel. Overall, very refreshing and easy drinking for a full-flavored beer, always good.

12oz bottle, draft. One of my favorites, cant go wrong with this beer. Its got a great pour to it, beautiful rust-like color and interesting flavors that will keep you sipping.

Pours orange with a moderate, fluffy, white head. Aroma is tobacco. Flavor is pretty minor with some tobacco and caramel flavor.

This poured a decent copper color with a bit of white head. The aroma and flavor were both slightly bittered, but could probably have stood to be slightly more so. There was a faint but present toasted flavor around the finish which faded pretty fast.

Ehhhhhh. Welll I suppose for a mass marketed brau she’s not all bad eh? A touch of bitterness and not totally awful, but really very inconsistent.
