I’ve had it before and it’s never smelled like this before so i’ll go off this and previous tastes. Aroma is strong of hops and wheat. Appearance is a brown but a bit too much see through for my liking. I had no head but that was probably my fault for not having a properly taken care of glass at the time. Flavor was hops and wheat with some bite. Purddy good. Went down smooth with a bit of bite. Overall, good beer, but honestly, I prefer it with a Guinness in the Black & Tan form. Still gotta say it’s good tho because it’s got substance and some depth to it which is more than one can say for American macro brewers. savnac (432), Palmer, Alaska, USA

Was at the airport and with the limited beers available decide to give it a go. Amber with a tiny off white head. Aroma was caramel sweetness and a light spicy bitterness. Flavor was balanced well and goes down smooth and is fairly refreshing. Nothing bad to say about it. dalek123 (103), Houston, Texas, USA

Aroma is a bit metallic , slightly malty and a bit of pleasant hops. The beer is light amber , with a short lasting head. Flavor: starts with light maltyness , then goes bitter and very very dry. end with a note of hop flavor. medium-low palate. Overall: a nice beer, but too dry and not full enough for my taste. Its not malty enough to be called a Premium Bitter. Ughsmash (4039), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Bottled. Poured crystal-clear medium amber with a creamy, well-retained cap of white head. Bright, pleasant opening of citrus zest, earth, and spicy floral over honey and caramel maltage.. came across a touch sticky and syrupy, but aiight. The flavor had the same malts at the core with peppery bitterness and citrus around.. the bitterness on the latter half didn’t carry through much character, but weren’t bad either.. finished spicy and sticky. Light-medium bodied and sweet overall on the palate with only a decent transition between the sweet middle and bitter edges.. drinkable and solid. Bragesnak (2276), Aarhus, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 2, 2009 On tap at the Flying Saucer in KC. Pours a crystal clear, copper orange body with a finger width, creamy, off-white head that leaves a light lacing. Aroma is malty with a very light hay and just a touch of fruit. Flavor is better and well balanced. Nothing too striking, but passes by with enough flavor. A good amount of pale caramels and a nice, soft, balancing hop bitterness. Some fruity notes make their way in too. Finishes with a light drying, sweet herbal bitterness that lasts for a decent amount of time. Light to medium bodied, smooth, balanced, and very sessionable. Overall, this isn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Not a huge flavor, but enough of a bitterness to satisfy.
