Ungstrup (11154), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 11, 2005 A light amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is spicy and fruity - with hints of nuts and caramel. The flavor is nutty, malty, and caramelic with a very dry toffee end. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 6, 2007 Bottled (5.1%) Brownosh amber, clear, fairly rich head. Lightly ashy nose. Sweet with dense malt and rounded ligtly soapy mouthfeel. Perfumy, lightly peppery and fruity with some melon. Low bitterness. Streamlined. Not an attention catcher. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 23, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, light brown colour (unfortunately partially from colourants) with a rich head. Some caramelish sweetness from the malts balanced by the bittering hops. Weak notes of fruit and nuts. Decent, but no real treat. 090301 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2000 If you have it on cask, it’s quite nice, but in the bottle it’s not much more than English ale for people who don’t actually like the taste of real English ale. yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 26, 2007 35,5 cL bottle. Pours deep orange and clear with a light brown and diminishing head. Sweet and roasted malt and slight citric aroma. Flavour is soft malty, roasted to a bit of toffee, in addition it has a slight acidic/citric twist. Ends dry and bitter - very classic English.
