CelticBrew (419), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA Apr 8, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light brown beer with a medium head. Carbonation is on the weak side. Aroma is a nice enough mix of malt. Taste is very classic English ale and ends with some medium bitterness. Easy drinking beer, however, it is boring and uninspiring ale. Wish there was more there.
matt7215 (484), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Jul 7, 2008 500 ml can from the LCBO. pour clear orange with a nice tan head. very good pale ale apperance. aromas are pale malts but very subdued. flavours are nicely balanced between caramel malts and hops. solid structure to this brew. very sessionable. the flavours is always present but isnt big in any way. a fine drop id have anytime. texasbartender (116), Sugarland, Texas, USA Jul 7, 2008 The beer pours a light amber with a thick white head. The nose is light; mixed of fruity and dry spice. The pallet is watery. The taste is light with malts some hops and light spice. I very underwhelming beer. donteatpoop (112), Youngstown, Ohio, USA Jul 3, 2008 A nice amber colow with a finger or two of white head.
Very floral hoppy smell.
The hops hit the tongue to up front, but the malts balance it out nicely.
The beer left my mouth a little dry.
Definately a solid ale, I’d love to drink a few of these in a sitting.

ewestern (19), Ohio, USA Jul 2, 2008 Poured a light amber with a white head. Slight roasted aroma with hops. Spicy hop taste with a bitter finish. Bier brauen (127), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jun 30, 2008 Someday, I’d like to try on tap in England. In a bottle in the states, it’s fair, but doesn’t match the many of the craft beer here at home.
