Bottle, Morrisons, West Kirby. Very dark brown, virtually black colour with a red tinge and a medium sized tan head. Aroma was dark fruit and choccy malt with the flavour having a slight sweetness and similar elements. Quite lively carbonation. Enjoyed this.

[Bottle] shared by BDR. Pours a clearish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is sweetish roasted barley and bittersweet chocolate. Flavor is the same. Somewhat thin mouthfeel. Overall not too bad.

I am not usually a huge fan of Porters, but liked this. Hints of coffee/chocolate in the roasted taste - very dark ruby brown. Nice

Very dark brown to black with a moderate tan head which falls to a thin layer. Has a rich chocolate malt aroma. Full body, with a dry inish.
