Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - February and March
A hoppy, rather than bitter ale, with a citrus fruit overtone and a 'dry hop' aroma.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Fish Inn Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is on the sweet side with notes of melon and pineapple. Melon sweetness in the taste which becomes a tad cloying. An unwelcoming beer which has some nice enough bits but is mostly below average.

Cask handpull at The Guildhall, Folkestone. Simply a good bitter. Top condition, perfect temperature, served well. Hoppy. Good malt biiscuit base. Everything a bitter should be and it completely shocked me to have such a tasty simple bitter.

Orangey golden. some fresh tobacco in the nose. Caramel toffee slight sweetness. Not a huge bitter bite but not bad.

Cask conditioned at The Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Gold in colour with a minimal white head; hoppy citrus aroma; sour grapefruit flavour, very refreshing; leading to a dry, bitter finish. Excellent - more of a Golden Ale style than a Bitter.

[Cask from Blackfriars] Aroma of caramel, pears, berry fruit, sweaty socks, some citric notes. Medium body, fruit on the palate, dry finish. I wish it didn’t smell of socks.
