Floral hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a little bitterness in a crisp dry and slightly pale malt finish.

Nov 14, 2009 Cask at Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford, in ’Spoons BF ’09. Coppery gold with a thin white head. Familiar fruity aroma, but what exactly is it? Blackcurrant? Marshmallow? Sweet fruit gum taste with a spicy hint and some lemon. Mid bitter finish. Rather good, interesting beer.

Nov 8, 2009 Grassy with a dry bitterness, a fairly bland ale and I can’t say I noticed much of the advertised fruitiness. The pump comes complete with a picture of Margaret Thatcher, for which I should really give it 1/5 for appearance.

Nov 7, 2009 Wehey I’m the tenth rater... Dark amber cask pint at JDW Newcastle, drinks sweet and herbal, a nice pine & resin like edge, particularly in the moderately bitter finish. Decent stuff.

Nov 5, 2009 [Cask at the Back of Beyond, Reading] Amber-gold, white head, slight fizz. Aroma, mouthfeel and initial taste of a cheap lager – cardboardy malt with dirty citrus hints. Redeems itself as sweet pineapple notes (sorry to add yet another fruit to the veritable cornucopia in previous ratings!) grow with time, with a decent hoppy bitter finish. OK overall, although I’m not sure I’d have it again.
