Golden coloured and slightly hazy appearance. Sour fruit flavour and some dryness in the malt finish.

Golden colour with sour fruit flavours. Some spice aroma. Slightly bitter crisp dry finish. Boystout (824), Chisinau, Moldova Aug 10, 2004 Wonderful toffees! Orange to brownish colour and an interesting haziness with almost no head. Lovely hoppiness and sweet caramelly softness. Cask conditioned. Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 18, 2004 [Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is slightly fruity. The flavor contains a lot of lemon and is therefore quite sour, but very pleasant and very fresh. The end is quite dry and has an OK hoppy bitterness, but the body is a little thin. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Jun 7, 2004 Pale golden colour. Some malt in the aroma, and a reasonable balance of malt and hops on the palate. Bittersweet finish. Not bad, but, overall, a little sweet for a beer of this style for me. Cask (handpump), Bateman’s Visitor Centre.
SilkTork (3881), Rochester, Kent, England Jun 1, 2004 JDW Rochester. This is the day after the Spring beer festival and my local JDW has more beers on today than they had during the festival! Anyway, this beer is in ideal condition. Initially impresses - quenches the thirst and is almost gone in a couple of gulps. Packs plenty of crisp, floral citric flavour. But the malt is a little sticky and clings unpleasantly to the mouth. Some honey and apple notes come through. A very decent blond - too nice to have just as a Spring seasonal.
