| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 4, 2009 Dark brown coloured beer almost cola-like. A really tiny and quickly evaporting, almost soap-like head. The scent is filled with syrupy malts and some lactose. The taste is dissapointingly watery, some malts and butter, and some hints of grassy hops. Even the mouthfeel is rather thin... Hermod (302), Vantaa, Finland

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Smells of honey and a little bit of malt, a nice and sweet aroma. Looks great, though the head could be larger, but that could just be the style. Not sure if I like the taste - it’s overpowered by a strong bitter roasted barley over the sweeter malts and that creates a kind of bitterness in an English bitter that I can’t say I’m entirely fond of. Nonetheless it’s a respectable bitter and still pretty darned good.
