Cereal and a hint of sour yeast on the nose. Pours lifeless pale copper. Flavour is a little thin with more cereal and a bitter finish. Nothing much good here - not hideous, just not very good.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Citrusy, grapefurit, bitter, dry, very pale malt. Alc is very well hidden. Very good.

[Gravity cask at Chippenham Beer Festival 2009] Sticky mouthfeel, dusty & wheaty aroma, some grapefruit and an unpleasantly bitter finish. Pretty poor.

Appearance: Pale golden, slightly cloudy. Basically no head. Aroma: Not much. Some hops and lemon? Taste: Hops and perfume, quite bitter. Unpleasant aftertaste. Info: 500ml bottle, 12/9-2007

500ml bottle from Waitrose, Stroud. Deep gold in colour with a short-lived white head and slight carbonation. Aroma of oranges and red fruit with some refreshing floral hops. Easy drinking with tonnes of summer fruits, some light biscuit malt backbone and a great bitter finish. Very good.

Polypin, Light coloured beer with a soapy head which disappears after half pint drunk. Very bitter finish, would agree with grapefruit flavour, again not my bag. Won’t buy again.

Gravity, Oxford CAMRA beer festival. Bright gold, big soapy off-white head. Musk melon aroma, berries. An otherwise nice aroma dulled with a bit of bell-tones. Raspberry hop notes, a nice citrus-pithy bitterness. Very fruity (underripe plums) and a bit of tea tanin in the finish. Light bodied and refreshing. Lots of flavor, but could use a bit more focus.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’07. Gold amber with white head. Good dry hoppy IPA type beer. Great palate cleanser with masses of fresh, grassy hops. Long and bitter finish, another great beer at this festival.
