Cask Handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Amber with a very short head. Lemony scent but very malty in the mouth. Watery. OK but boring.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium amber (copper) color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Bitternes is malt bittter and orange shell bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030508)

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Orange brown with a very thin white film. Nice malty aroma with some slight coffee and ginger. Bitter hoppage in the mouth with earthy and nutty notes and a dry finish. A little too restrained for me but I guess that’s the idea...

"Erm... I’ve no idea... er, I’ll have what ever you are having."
For the bland at heart.
