| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2006 Bottle 0,3l. Ruby color. Fruity aroma’s with hop, flowers, toffee. Bitter taste with a medium body. Slightly bitter (hops), not a lot of malts present, after a while dry with dark chocolat. A bit harsh dry finish but nice and hoppy. I like bocks that concentrate on malt aroma’s but this one has a nice hoppy character. The harsh dry finish makes me think where the wheats have been hidden, couldn’t taste them. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2006 Good looking dark redbrown beer with a nice off-white creamy head. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate and some fruit. Tastes bittersweet, chocolate, roasted malts, fruity and caramelish. Finishes fruity, bitter, long and full. Some metallic notes in the mouth as well, but that quickly disappears. Nice top-fermented bockbier. pivnizub (5028), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2006 Bottle: (courtesy MoritzF/Bierkoning): Ruby to amber coloured, huge off-white head, sticking to the glass; sweet-malty in the nose, distinctive traces of coriander and roasted malt; sweet-malty flavour with a faint bitterness; sweet-malty, again in the finish, a bit vinous, with an slightly bitter aftertaste. Quite well balanced "top-fermented" Bock. If it’s true, that this Bock is produced by the use of wheat, this wheat is pretty well hidden................ NoiZe (1335), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2005 I liked this bock. It’s a bit on the sweet side but not too sweet like some other (read: grolsch) bocks. It’s nicely balanced and drinkable. No specialty, but enjoyable. MoritzF (4961), Bochum, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 29, 2005 (bottle) Clear mahogany colour with a foamy tanned medium head. Slightly sweet malty aroma with caramel and a dense fruity note. Sweet flavour, medium body, well carbonated. Sweet malty taste, slightly caramelly and fruity, sweet and slightly roasted malty finish. Not bad, but I´m also not overwhelmed. Hunsell (400), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2005 Reddish brown with beige head. Sweet caramel-malty nose. Quite fruity, banana and red fruit, caramel, but certainly not very sweet. Wellbalanced brew, lacks some depth but for Bavaria, this is quite a good try. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany
