Commercial Description:
Bavaria Light is characterized by its low calorie and alcohol content. It has its own identity, its bitter flavor balanced with its body. Extremely refreshing, this beer quenches thirst without the “rebound” effect of sugars. It has generous fullness for its type, and all the qualities belonging to a perfect Lager. Florida has been producing Bavaria Light since 1993.

Pretty standard fizzy, light, lager. The best part about this beer is the location you should be drinking it: on a beach in CR.

My light beer choice during my stay in CR. Next time I go back will see if it still fits the bill.

Light yeast aroma. Clear light color with a small white head. Flavor is almost nonexistent. Light palate.

350 mL can, sampled in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Pours a clear yellow, effervescent, large-bubbled white head with good retention and lacing. Bland aroma showing white grape juices, grain, and sugar. Highly carbonated. Definitely a very drinkable pale lager: crisp, minerally, low sweetness, good presence of a basic maltiness; medium mouthfeel; actually seems better composed than the heftier Bavarias, if lighter; good pale lager; crisp, lively, generally flawless. Light finish: toastiness, crisp, no lasting sweetness.

350 ml bottle drank at lunch with Red Snapper in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Pour is clear yellow golden with a two inch snow white head. Head falls fairly slow, with nice lacing. Aroma of almost nothing, perhaps a sweet fruitiness. Taste was watery with a touch of the fruit sweetness and a very brief moment of malt. Palate is thin and watery, with a dull earthy finish. This was the worst beer I had during my trip to Costa Rica, though the Red Snapper was the best I have ever had - good lunch!

My last Costa Rica treat from my brother-in-law. Clear straw yellow, thick white head. Faint banana aroma, along with old dishrag. Thin watery palate, grainy, nothing foul really, just forgettable.

Golden color, small white head. Aroma of sweetcorn and iron. Watery palate, fizzy carbonation. Very metallic flavor. Real light beer - everything is so light in this beer.

From bottle. Aroma was light and generically average for a light pale lager. Taste was watery, light. Slightly hoppy, but not a lot of flavor to speak of at all. Not awful, but the only reason you should get this is to add it to your ratebeer list.
