Thought it was ok, really bright golden color, basically the same thing as corona but it went down pretty good even without a lime, not bad for a cheap beer night, girls will like it.

At first I thought it was a bad batch, but after reading some of the other comments, it is otherwise. I thought a skunk died in the bottle, but no and after six, it was water. Not even fit for a park bench and a paper bag. Yuck

Not much going on here. As pale as pale lagers get. This one was forgetable.

Bottled: Given to me by well meaning friends at a BBQ. I think it is a ambitious attempt to out-bland corona. Head retention - nil, aroma practically nil, mouthfeel - eh, what are you talking about?, flavour - some traces of unplesant adjuncts and a parched finish. I was going to give it an extra point for being star-bright, but was given a second one (thanks mate, sigh) and it was naturally skunked. Crappy beer in a crappy clear bottle, boo hiss.

A Marca Bravara. Tasted from the clear glass bottle (when will brewer’s learn?). Poured into a Pils glass, a pale straw body sat absolutely headless, with small gassy soda bubbles popping to the surface like a glass of champagne. Rice pudding aroma, slightly skunky, with a little leafiness. Dry pasty palate, crisp carbonation upfront, lemon and leafy hop sides, and a short bitter swallow. Little sweet malt throughout, medium-light bodied and a grain husk aftertaste. Nothing off-putting, but nothing in it I like, either.

Bottle (as A Marca Bravara): Poured pale clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma of sulphury, synthetic saaz with some buttery grain - all faint. Flavour was mostly water with some buttery notes and sweet hoppy aftertaste. Lots of carbonation and some icky powderiness to finish.

I had put this rating under another Brazilian beer but this appears to be the right one, despite being labelled Bravaria in Austalia. Very much looking like concentrated urine in the clear bottle. Little aroma and a slight corny flavour. I suppose if you missed your bowl of cornflakes in the morning you could drink this but why bother.

Marketed as ’A Marca Bravara’ in Australia with the abv cranked up a fraction to 4.5%. The bottle I bought had a ’Best Before’ date of a week earlier, which may say a bit about how it’s selling. Pale yellow with a negligible head. Flat-looking and uninviting. Bright but one-dimensional hoppy aroma. Thin, smooth palate but where the hell is the taste? A finish so abrupt that you’re left thinking, " Was that it?" To compound the problems, it has an unpleasant dry aftertaste that encourages you to drink more - and promptly regret it. Like sucking chalk. What have they put in this? Not even a slice of lime could rescue this. Avoid.
