Aug 11, 2009 Pours very pale gold with a 2 finger fluffy white head that has good retention. Aroma is grass, sweet malt, toasted grain, wet limestone, raw grain, some grass and a little bready lager yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, grassy hops, woody notes, half baked white bread, some toast and a nice mildly bitter finish. Not bad for the style, pretty ho-hum, try it if you love Heineken I guess. Palate is thin, dry and nicely carbonated.

Jul 16, 2009 An easy-drinking, refreshing beer and cheaper than Grolsch or Heineken, too! Appearance is a bright medium gold with a foamy white head of modest size. Aroma is scarce, perhaps a bit floral. Taste is clean and not as bitter as the aforementioned "other" Dutch beers. Aftertaste is (briefly) a bit sweet - thought I had a wheatbeer going here for a moment but then the hops kick in. Not bad.

Jul 8, 2009 AS Bavaria Classica @ Italy. 66cl bottle. Pours clear gold with a off white head. Nose is moderate malty and hoppy. Grain and hay. Quite dry. Watery mouthfeel. No off flavors but quite boring.
