Pours a light gold colour, with a soft white head. The nose consisting of very little. Perhaps grass and grain? The taste is refreshing. A poor mans heinekan as been said. Pretty lowbrow pils, but a good beer nonetheless. ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia

Amazed I hadn’t tasted it yet, thought I was through with novelty pilsners. Poured a sparkling, yellowy gold with fine carbonation capped off with a loose, rocky white crown that managed to stick around for the length leaving minimal legs. Dry, fresh mowed grass and dusty malt aroma, quite clean but lacking somewhat. Thin, watery, soft palate. Light blend of barnyard grain, souring malt and stale hops. Gently bitter on the finish with a soapy, short swallow. Nothing too offensive, quite straightforward, bland and brain-dead quaffing. So-so. Soft hops initially barely distinguished from the acidity of the carbonation. Drinkable, but lack of body and taste makes this a very boring drink indeed. altonbrownd (1887), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Can’t say it was too filling, bit of a malty flavour and bubbely. How come Bavaria is a Dutch beer? No idea. messymatt (36), Netherlands

Pours light golden, very fizzy, but very very unexciting, refreshing is probably a plus point I could put it’s way. I have had a lot better but to be fair I have had an awful lot worse. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 12, 2006 Can from the LCBO. Clear light gold with a small qhite head that recedes quickly. Aroma of grainy malt with some decent honey and herb notes. Light, crisp body. Sweet honeyish malt off the top of the flavour, leading into an interesting lemony middle, and a mild, herbal finish. I got none of the corn notes that a lot of raters seem to have gotten - it’s an unexciting beer to be sure, but a fairly clean and adjunct-free one to my nose & palate.
