Light hazy amber / orange in colour, so-so off-white cap (could be creamier), some spotty lacing. The aroma is soft all around but still thick. Lots of sweet malts - more than I expected. Some pine, the usual candy citrus (softer than the norm). I think I Need another one for review as I cannot nail the aroma down well enough. The hops (leafy, hot, pine, spicy, some grapefruit) are not super overpowering but are still very harsh (I like!!!). Bready malts. A decent blend of flavours but seems muted somehow. Full bodied, smooth all the way through, some mild alcohol bite, fading piney bitter finish.

I kind of wanted to hate this beer. But I really can’t. Its kind of bland and average, but not bad. A little better than Heineken actually, which is sort of the benchmark for Hollish macros

Can: Pours a pale yellow with thin white frothy head. Aroma is light and grainy with a touch of hop. Flavour is also very light and watery with a slight bitterness that lingers on the tongue for a moment then fades to a clean finish with virtually no aftertaste.

An average pilsener primarily dominated by the malt. Nice white head. Acceptable malty aroma. Flavour is lightly sweet, perhaps with some corn. Only a lightly bitter finish. A pleasant, but uninteresting beer.

Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours very bright golden body with no carbonation, the head is medium, white and rocky, mostly diminishing dynamically changing, the head gives some lacing, what is surprising is thatthere are no bubbles in the body of the beer at all after the head is formed.
Aroma: Mild, chalky a bit, oily, grains, a kind of bitter, hoppy freshness, rather not mellow and milky like the previous - ’Lager’ version, some hints of a nasty smell like dirt, something sweaty and dirty.
Flavour: Oily texture, front is mild, no carbonation on plate, accidic, dry impression in the aftertaste - chalky like, metalic, bitterness and hoppy freshness is present, grainy, finish duration is short.
Palate: Light, texture is oily, carbonation is flat (very minute amount of gass), finish feel is grainy, chalky, accidic (light), alcoholic (light).

Had one of these in a bottle, came in my "Beers of the World" giftpack. Rich nose of toasted grain, alcohol, and a touch of fruit. Pours a pale golden honey. The large creamy dense white head is mostly lasting with good lacing. The balanced flavor finishes slightly sweet with no acidity. Subtle understated complexity for a lager. The very smooth and creamy body is light to medium with a nice dry finish.

Another mistake in my quest to find a good Dutch Lager. Won’t bore you with the taste details, just horrible.

Bottle thanks to sliffy...thanks jerk. Gold pour with a white head. Skunky aroma coupled with a skunky light corn flavor. Light body with a crisp mouthfeel. Obviously this beer was damaged goods, but even past that it was fairly boring.
