0,25l bottle which poured golden colored body with thick creamy head. Quite typical lager aroma of bread and citrus hops with light malts. Nice flavor, quite full bodied for the style with low bitterness... moderately carbonated, relatively oily textured. Good palate, with nice relatively long finish. Nothing too special but surely one of the best commercial pale lagers. trapez (840), Hilleroed, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2006 I was expecting a Heineken-type of dutch import, but it was actually somewhat better than that. Poured the expected light golden color with white head, but unlike others of its type, the head lingered for the entire glass and left very good lacing. Has the typical grainy lager aroma, but the taste is flavorful, and the finish is smooth. This actually was not too bad of a beer. scotty (834), Scotland
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 6, 2005 Good looking lager, pale gold with a fine white head. A strange aroma dominates, hoppy??? perhaps!!! Light in flavour and on the palate. A refreshing style of lager, I don’t think it’s meant to be taken too seriously. Well chilled, this is OK stuff, better than another mass produced "lager" from Glasgow. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 30, 2004 Well... definitely not a pilsner, at least in taste, I agree with the rating. "Family brewed"... hmph, indeed... but what does that mean? Like that it says "canned in holland", never saw that verb before on labelling. Can’t complain too much about the color... nice orange, upward flowing torrants of bubbles... but the taste... pleasing, but you have to get used to it. A twinge sweet on the afterplate. I can drink this beer, but not entirely satisfying. cb (809), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA

There was a slight hoppy bite and it did tempt me several times throughout the day. Nothing special but I""d get it again if the price was right screwball (802), Motala, Sweden
