Is quite dry in the flavour and has some sweetness. Finish is without the bitterness, I prefer. Not a bad pilsener though JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 12, 2005 500 ml can. Very pale golden beer with thin white head, fading back quickly to thin lace. Aroma of hay, pale malt. Flavour is slightly sweet, pale malt, grassy hops. Comes across a bit industrial. Sweetish finish. yngwie (5024), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Can. (as Tesco Premium Lager, 5%) A clear, slightly pale golden beer topped by a small, white head. Grainy and malty on the nose, quite sweetish, with a touch of fruits. Malty-sweet, grainy and quite weak flavor with a quite pleasant bitterness. The bitterness is actually the best part of this beer, else it’s too grainy and sweet, also in the finish. Medium body. Decent, and sort of quenching even though it’s on the sweet side. Don’t see any reason to re-visit though. (081220) ¾ (5008), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Clear yellow appearance from all directions, due to a very thin, filmy white head. Smells of sharp, sulfuric DMS and mildly skunky saaz hops. Fizzy, bland, almost flavorless up front, really not even noticed until the finish, which isn’t so bad as is it boring and expected. Semi-sweet corn syrup and bitter honey flavors on the back, though fairly mild. Was expecting worse, but honestly this is quite drinkable if the goal is simply refreshment, when really anything cold and fizzy would hit the spot. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 6, 2005 I really like the way this beer looks, light golden color, lively carbonation, huge creamy (maltose induced) head. Unfortunately, it stinks... that is, the aroma is unfortunate. (What’s Dutch for "skunk?") This is very soft in the mouth and actually doesn’t taste too bad in a mild, malty way. But there’s little neligible hopping, so this certainly isn’t a pils... at least, a good one. Watery clean finish. JPDIPSO (4935), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 6, 2004 Can. Sweet malt and mild floral aroma. Really to sweet smelling. Dark straw color with a off white head and rings of lace. Realy sweet malt liqour flavors. Hints of alcohol late in the gulp. Another brew to boil brats in. jbrus (4897), Delft, Netherlands

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 16, 2004 Although the label on my bottle said "Premium Pils", this was the 5% export version, so I guess it belongs here. Premium, my arse. Although it just managed to muster a slight head when poured, there were no bubbles at all after that and the mouthfeel was horribly flat and dull. Mid gold colour. Vaguely malty aroma, but a bit skunky. Some bitterness in the mouth, but generally bland. Pretty poor stuff. 660ml bottle from Tesco.
