There was still room for the 3 inch pure foam head to crest at the top. A perfect pour if I may idulge myself a bit! Aroma was of VERY faint hops. First taste was of foam and water, Second gulp was all water with barley detectable traces of Malt. Zero aftertaste. This beer definitely looks better than it tastes! There’s nothing memorable here that would cause me to buy it again. thehipone (197), Australia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 12, 2004 Got a sixer of this for my birthday after telling someone that I liked a lot of belgian beers. Well, it’s not belgian, but it’s not bad. Has that characteristic continental lager/pilsener taste with a little more bitterness and a little less hop flavor than most import lagers. Standard golden pilsener color with light carbonation and a thin white head. Apparently this one doesn’t travel well, I think there is decent turnover in my local bottle shop, so I think I got a relatively fresh batch. why do breweries package export beer in green bottles instead of brown? THe world may never know. RaphaelN (195), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

Touch of bitterness present in the mild hop presence on the palette. Nose is bread and malt. Thin and not very well craft. Muggus (193), Sydney, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 23, 2003 A cheap imported beer they sell at the supermarket bottle shop. Nothing special, almost an insult to a decent pilsner. Light malt flavour, quite sweet, quite bitter, smells pretty skunky and it appalling with a rise of temperature. Drinkable, yes, but not one i'm keen to drink as session beer again. greystreet80 (191), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Apr 21, 2002 The best thing about this beer was the weird bottle it came it. It was easily the skunkiest beer i have ever had the misfortune of drinking. I think this is the worst beer ever. Holland has failed time and time again in my book; this time was no exception. softale (188), Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 14, 2002 Very similar to Heineken except the skunkiness is minimal (probably due to the fact that I had this in from a can.) Light straw-yellow color, minimal head retention. Smells grassy and herbal. Taste is pretty bland and neutral. Nothing special about it except, it is a pretty good buy in the pint cans.
