This is a perfectly servicable beer, especially with food, at a good price point ($5/6-16 oz.) I actually rather enjoyed the aroma (from the can, not from the green bottle,) which is slightly malty and alcoholic. Flavor is somewhat malty, but otherwise close to American Standard. Palate clings a little. Deep green can, not particularly attractive. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 13, 2006 Pours urine test yellow with a large white fluffy head. The aroma is lightly grainy malt with traces of corn. The body is slightly above light with fizzy carbonation. The taste is simple and light, creamy smooth malt with a light sweet fake fruit taste. The finish has a light touch of spicy hops. It wasn’t horrible at this point, but once it started warming up a bit it started tasting more and more like sweet corn. I could take no more and had to pour it. Skred (107), Houma, Louisiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 24, 2003 Full, slowly diminishing head, very pale golden color. The one outstanding feature is the Saaz hops aroma, which unfortunately does not make it into the flavor, which is weak, slightly sweet, and with a watery texture. It's not bad, but after the initial impression (aroma) upon opening the bottle, everything else was a letdown -- this is no Pilsner Urquell, but neither is it a Coors Light. TJO99 (10), Netherlands

Some honey sweetness in the flavor. Clean even mouthfeel. Decent. Original 3.2 Pleasantly surprised for a cheap import. Aroma - not skunky. Nice clean golden appearance. Bit of a sweet almost honey-like quality to the flavor. Very thirst quenching after mowing the yard. Very smooth. garrison (461), Cin. city, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 19, 2006 From a green, eight-ounce bottle purchased on clearance at "liquor Direct" in Covington, Kentucky - This one pours a pale yellow with a full white head of foam and almost no odor. Tastewise... finally, a beer that can outbland Heiniken!
It’ll not be a reapest buy!
