Typical pilsener, smooth with a mild hop bite. Refreshing. Better than American macro pilseners anyday.

This was another beer tasted in Aruba while on a trip. We stayed in Oranjestad the capital. The beahes were beatutiful and the snorkeling on a barge super. Their beers were refreshing in the 90 degree climate.

Bottle. There are really selling this beer cheap. 4$ a sixer. Thin white head. Has that stale German pilsener aroma of hops and no malt. Taste is okay. Bit watery, but has some crispness. Rather disappointing otherwise.

I bought a sixer of this a while back and didn’t mind it. Nice golden colour but thin head. Not bad for a clear bottle beer (imported) but I really can’t see myself buying it again, not very interesting.

I expected this green-bottled beer to be skunky (it wasn’t). Still, it seemed a bit thick for the style, and as far as "green bottle Euro lagers" go, I really prefer Pilsner Urquell. It poured a handsome golden color with decent head formation, which left no lacing. It smelled good; not in a "big beer" sense, but it was light and refreshing. Taste and mouthfeel were not all that great though. It was thicker than I felt it should be, and not really refreshing at all. Taste was not off-putting, but seemed syrupy almost, which was not was I expecting (a light and refreshing lager).

On tap at some cafe in Utrecht, 11th June 09. A poor, bog standard premium lager.

Golden colour, white head. Not much of an aroma. Not much of a taste, too watery.
