The alcohol might peek through just a tad. Doesn’t have much of that characteristic pilsener bite. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

Also has that typical, green bottle, slightly skunky flavor - but overall, not too bad. I’d go with Heineken 1st, but this would do. JohnDo2000 (99), Metairie, Louisiana, USA

Nothing in it that is distinctively great. LeopardMan (53), New Zealand

Pale brown; average fuzzy head. Slightlly grassy but nothing much else in terms of flavour or aroma. The aftertaste left by the the grassiness is, however, quite pleasant, IMHO.
Goes well with a full stomach and a long night of sport-watching. bluevegie (2213), Perth, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 12, 2004 Almost golden colour with a short head. No real aroma to speak of, maybe stale hops. Shallow bitterness that fades away. Not offensive but not great. piscator34 (1131), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 23, 2008 Canned sample. Golden in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of slightly sticky pale malts, and a wiff of grassy hops. Simplistic pale malt flavors to start, followed by some harsh/husky grain notes, with a solvent-like finish. Pretty basic stuff.... vaguely drinkable. Cornfield (4957), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 6, 2005 I really like the way this beer looks, light golden color, lively carbonation, huge creamy (maltose induced) head. Unfortunately, it stinks... that is, the aroma is unfortunate. (What’s Dutch for "skunk?") This is very soft in the mouth and actually doesn’t taste too bad in a mild, malty way. But there’s little neligible hopping, so this certainly isn’t a pils... at least, a good one. Watery clean finish. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 29, 2005 Another medicinal skunk lager, yay. I thought brewers were using beta hop oils to get around that now. A little malt under there. Clear with some lacing. Very watery and low in flavor but has some delicate floral notes intermingled with industrial lager harshness. Wouldn’t be a bad keg party beer.
