(50 cl can from Systembolaget) Clear golden color, big lasting white head. Sweet malty hay scent. Sweet malt and butter taste. Slightly metallic aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Poured 3 of these 12 oz bottles into my giant clear dimpled glass Bavarian Mug. There was still room for the 3 inch pure foam head to crest at the top. A perfect pour if I may idulge myself a bit! Aroma was of VERY faint hops. First taste was of foam and water, Second gulp was all water with barley detectable traces of Malt. Zero aftertaste. This beer definitely looks better than it tastes! There’s nothing memorable here that would cause me to buy it again.

500ml tallboy from LCBO shared with a friend. Pale colour with a white head. Nothing much here. Touch of bitterness present in the mild hop presence on the palette. Nose is bread and malt. Thin and not very well craft.

Weak flavor, nothing distinctive from other pale lagers. Pretty sweet. No hop flavor.

Pours a sparkling clear gold with tons of rising bubbles and a loose, frothy white head that diminishes quickly. Decent lacing. Skunk on the initial pour; shocker given the green glass. Given time, however, the aroma clears to reveal a lightly sweet macro-esque lager nose with just a whisper of dry grass in the background. Light-bodied and slick with a dry, lightly bitter and somewhat metallic finish. A sweet malt front with a lightly bitter end that lingers far too long for my liking. For a lager, it’s not awful, but it certainly doesn’t inspire me to drink another.

Poured a golden color with a large fluffy white head and some lacing. Rather mild hop and corn aroma. Sweet corn taste and a watery mouthfeel. Smooth and watery, but not horrid.

Usual pilsner, blah, blah, blah. But hey it was on offer at my supermarket. Thats it!

Blatantly not from Bavaria but it does tastes a little bit like a Helles. Nice soft malt but it’s a bit milky. Not much hop going on but I guess that’s the style. Not bad.
