Pleasantly skunky pale gold Pils not a million miles from Grolsch. Sweet malt, grassy hops and a touch of grainy biitterness in the finish. Not as blandly generic as expected.

66cl bottle from Morrisons. Looks like a typical lager; good aroma of fresh grass; crisp and fresh in the mouth a notable bitterness; short clean finish. Far better than the other widely exported mass market Dutch lagers.

355ml bottle, found in the bottom of the fridge. Even 5 months past its b/b date still in decent shape. A little bit adjunt based, corny but still better than most in a gree n bottle that end up in this country.

An easy-drinking, refreshing beer and cheaper than Grolsch or Heineken, too! Appearance is a bright medium gold with a foamy white head of modest size. Aroma is scarce, perhaps a bit floral. Taste is clean and not as bitter as the aforementioned "other" Dutch beers. Aftertaste is (briefly) a bit sweet - thought I had a wheatbeer going here for a moment but then the hops kick in. Not bad.

Nice beer, good flavor from hops. Reminds me of Heineken, which I don’t mind either. Not bad....

This not a bad beer at all, it is refreshing and has a very nice bitterness, similiar to heineken, becks, stpauli, etc. Just another average crisp euro brew that does the job when needed
