Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Golden color, small white head, lace. Strong aroma of anise and herbs. Sweetish malty, a bit papery flavor, which is dominated by anise. Also herbal hints - propably from coriander. Quite unique, but not really enjoyable as a bock.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is anis, spices, coriander, malts and white bread. Flavour is spicy, yeasty, white bready with strong focus on malts, milder on hops. Wellbalanced brew.

bottle 33 cl, expiration dec 2007. Pours a dark golden (more like copper) with a small white head and an aroma of spices (coriande), grass and yeast. The taste is dominated by yeast, with hints of banana, citrus and salmiak. The finish is a bit sweet and a bit bitter, a pretty good bock

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Nice citrus notes. Heavy bitter flavor with licorice-notes (from the anis). Heavy bitter long finish. Oily palate. Nice brew.

33 cl bottle, generously shared by Tom Nickle at O’Briens. Pours golden clear with a small white head. Very different and intriguing aroma, sweet and fresh spring flowers, some citrus notes, very light spice and a bit of soap. Sweet and floral in the flavor, fresh spring soap, bit of orange and pleasant hoppiness in the finish. Smooth, medium body with gentle carbonation.

Golden colour, white lasting head. Spicy aroma. Light malty, anise, fresh. Alcohol cut through flavors, not disturbing. Nice spring bock.
