| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 1, 2009 Beer poured a dark brown, soda like color with a solid tan head with large bubbles. The aroma was malty, spent grainish. The taste was very sweet, soda like, almost like a cream soda. Even at only 1.5% this was a hard beer to get down and I could not finish it. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Good dark, yellow-brown head over faintly red-shot, very dark brown beer. Small nose, rosewater, chocolate, slightly rotten. Dry main taste, nearly woody, but overlaid by a cloying artificial sweetness. Sticky, falsely thickened body. Not very much to enjoy. OK for children, but mine preferred the Blonde. bhensonb (4260), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown color with a good tan head. Smells like cooked malt. Medium body with coarse carbonation. Mildly sweet, slightly fruity. No bitter to mention. Turns watery as the carbonation goes. Still, it goes down rather pleasantly. We could use a beer like this in the United States. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 2, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Brown, clear beer with a small off-white head. Nose of roasted malt and sugar. Although this has artificial sweeteners it doesn’t come out chemical or artificial. Thanks to that this is a pleasant and easy to drink table beer. 080599
