May 28, 2008 Bottle at Cambrinus in Brugge. Light aroma of cooked dark fruits - aka raisins. Dark amber color with a fine beige head. Less than medium body. Fine carbonation. It’s a great flow of light caramel and floral/herbal hop. It’s balanced. It goes with spicey food. It finishes well. Truly sessionable (except for the ABV).

Mar 9, 2008 Bottle@Home. Very strange aroma. Is it malt? Don’t know. It’s sweet and sourish, raisin, figues and?. Dark amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, caramel malts, light herbal bitterness, hint of raisin. Sticky mouthfeel. Better than expected.

Feb 12, 2008 25 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours golden amber with a lacing off-white head. Light spiced and caramel malty aroma. Flavour light fruity (dried to overripe), and light yeasty. Somewhat oxidised, yet not to dominantly. Ends with a light fruity note and no real bitterness.

Jan 20, 2008 250ml bottle from Bier Tempel, Brussels. Sweet, jammy, brown malt, licorice, raisins, cardboard, marmite and dog shit. Aroma of twiglets. Thin, dryish, blood tinged finish. An OK beer.

Jan 6, 2008 De Zolder, Brugge, New Year’s Eve. Clear red and thinly headed. Chewy, waxy, prune-sodden aroma. Flavour srtaightforwardly malty, with lots of chewy dark fruit. Didn’t strike me as overly sweet at all. Simple but good.

Nov 14, 2007 Bottled in take One maastricht. Dark amber color with hardly any lacing, Quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma is sweat and yeasty. Flavor is overly sweet. Low carbonation made me think it was expired but it was just a badly composed beer

Flavor is moderate sweet (malt / sugar sweet) with a average to long duration. Unbalanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
