Bottle, 5.8% as Bavik Ezel Witbier. Dusty and lemony aroma with clove. Hazy yellow/orange colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is dominated by lemon with yoghurt acidity, ending with alcohol bitterness. Peppery finish. Good mouthfeel.

Bottled, unfiltered, 250ml. Muddy yellow with no head. This beer was pretty muddled, its a Witt without the spicy, clovey kick, some lemony acidity but overall quite dissapointing.

Wish I had an exciting story for this one but a dusty bottle at John’s Martket in 2004. Wish I brought the glass at Belmont Station. A high gravity wit that has more balls than most of the Double wits I have had. Page 42 of MJ"s GBG and only 479 Classic Brews to go.

Bottle. Decent witbier. Typical coriander spice characters, with some refreshing citrusy qualities. Quite a soft mouthfeel, with some lightly peppery qualities towards the finish.
