Ezel Wit "White". Cloudy, yellow-amber colour, average white head. Hoppy aroma, some flowers and citrus touches. Creamy body, soft carbonation. Finish is rather astringent, and dry.

Bottled 0,33L [Bavik Ezel White - 5,8%].
Clearly yellow color, lightly hazy. Good and extended fizz. Little long-lasting brittle foam. Fresh aroma with notes of yellow grape, raisin wine and a light bitter tip. Medium pungent taste, balanced and fresh; good acidity. Good Reflect witbier style abidance . Modest bitter. Medium final.

(Bottled, quick refresh@Daamsche Clipper, Damme) Nicely refreshing, pleasantly full-bodied, less spicy than usual witbiers. Neutral with smoothly balanced carbonation. (Bottled, labeled "Ezel", 5.8% ABV, rated 11/25/2005, was 8-3-6-3-14=3.4) Opaque darkish yellow color with a small, fading and fizzy head. Quite strong, perfumy-fruity-flowery aroma of ginger, pineapple and passion fruit, plus some crisp hops. Fruity and spicy, quite perfumy flavor, but not quite as interesting as the aroma. Light to medium-bodied palate with fizzy carbonation. Still a quite nice, tasty and refreshing witbier.

Honey and fresh grain nose, pale orange color with a green tinge, low lathery creamy head. Sweet round body, no bitter. Odd aftertaste - kinda soapy. Medium body. Then and weak, but Ok in the end.

Sampled as Ezel Wit: Hazy orange color with a small head on top Some sour banana and yeast nose. Tastes a bit sweet with banana and orange. Oily texture, a bit boring.

Bottled, labeled "Ezel". Cloudy dark yellow. Aroma of orange and curacao. Sweet and intensely fruity with with rounded, mellow mouthfeel. Rich for a wit, but certainly not refreshing.

Hazily white/yellow. Malty, fatty, some orange aroma. A witbier on steroids.

(Bottle 25 cl) A very unusual witbier. Clear and not hazy with a rather strong alcohol. Some odd, dry sweet’n’sour notes. An off bottle? 190896
