Bavik Golden Hop Pils

Bottle 25cl.
Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, cardboard, butter notes, light hoppy. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090404]

Bottle, 5%. Papery aroma. Hazy very pale yellow colour. Very small head. Grainy flavour, hint of bread. Low bitterness.

25 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Grassy and bitterhops aroma. Mild sweet and citric flavoured. Cradboardish and grassy flavoured. Bitter and dry finish. Simple.

25cl, exclusive brew, from De Bierloods Adegem, not complex brew, yet refreshing, balanced, clear, good head, nothing special

Bottle, 25 cl.(bought @ Bierloods) Clear yellow color, with good white head. Aroma malts (grainy) sweet. Light body. Taste good malts, little sweet, bitterness finish. Nice pils !

light golden color. Sweet malty taste first, then hevy bitterness comes on at the end. Good pilsner. More than people give them credit for.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden with a slight haze. Very lively and carbonated. No real malty feel but a very dominating bitterness on a rather light body. Not really in balance. 310899

Fishy and grainy aroma. Golden color, white head, good lace. Little sweet start, little grainy, faint hops, little bitterness in the end. Another great example of how Belgians should stick with brewing ales instead of pilseners.
