TexasAggie12 (64), Burnet, Texas, USA May 17, 2006 light golden color. Sweet malty taste first, then hevy bitterness comes on at the end. Good pilsner. More than people give them credit for. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 22, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden with a slight haze. Very lively and carbonated. No real malty feel but a very dominating bitterness on a rather light body. Not really in balance. 310899 jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Sep 7, 2003 Fishy and grainy aroma. Golden color, white head, good lace. Little sweet start, little grainy, faint hops, little bitterness in the end. Another great example of how Belgians should stick with brewing ales instead of pilseners.
