| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 24, 2005 Sample from 330 ml bottle at the Mondial. Very clear, bubbly blonde with a fair amount of lace and fluffy head...nose seems somewhat spoiled and skunky, wet sodden grain and little sweetness...effervescent mouthfeel, light malt, lactic sourness, rather unexciting finish. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 14, 2005 Updated: Apr 16, 2005I agree with most of the people who’ve rated this and don’t think it’s a trippel. It’s pretty different from all the trippels I have tried. I would say that this beer has a nice brown color to it. with a lot of sediment. Flavor and aroma are slightly sourish. I also seem to detect a slight brettanomyces aroma and taste (barnyard like qualities) Interesting beer, but nothing special. Also how funny is it that this beer is called "pilar biter" and the dude on the front is biting a pilar with a hat on it, which makes for a really unique shadow. I might have actually become slightly gayer for drinking this beer. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA
