ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a lacing white head. Light wheaty and mild yeast spiced. Mild fruity note too. Flavour is mildly spiced and mild wheaty. Ends with a mild spiced note and a light wheat like note.

Pours to a hazy reddish brown color that with a light tan head that explodes out of the glass, but then quickly settles down to a skim through mid-glass. Aroma is a tad muted, but is mostly a mix of hoppy citrus fruits and malty sour dark fruits. Mouthfeel is tangy-sweet, alomost like a dumbed down Flemish Sour. Flavor follows the fuit theme, and the finish is a fairloy confusing mix of smooth dark ale and the wackiness of a Flemish Sour. An interesting beer.

Bottled. Nice yellowish golden colour with big fluffy white mediumsized head. Aroma is fruits, some sourness, earthyness and parfume. Also some mild toffee lurking in the background. Flavour is toffeeish, fruity, nectary and some mild spicyness. Finish turns a bit sour and more spicy, but still is wellbalanced. Aftertaste is fruity nectar along with some spices and yeasty notes. biting carbonation.

Só não se parece com a "típica tripel belga" porque lhe falta sabor e caráter. O aroma segue o paladar, muito mel, canela e florais. Álcool em leve excesso.

330ml bottle. This is my kind of Tripel. Smooth and creamy, letting the yeasty flavors take precedence over the candi sugar. Deliciously mellow and classy, a Belgian Tripel walking the line awfully close to a Belgian Blonde.

Bottle from Bier Tempel. Huge head with small darks specs - spice? Spicy blaond, some vanilla, some bitterness. A little sour aftertaste.
