L’unico difetto è la leggerezza del corpo. Ottimo aroma di malto con note di caramello al palato si presenta piuttosto dolce con un amaro appena percettibile

0.33 l bottle. Red to amber color with dirty looking head. Caramel, nuts, berries, phenols and glue in the aroma. Sweetish flavor with tart fruitiness, phenols, caramel, glue and some sharp alcohol. Fairly mild aroma and flavor for 6.5 % abv.

Dark brown colored, medium sized yellow head. Weird aroma with thin glue, berries and mild alcohol, some chocolate also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is better with slight chocolate and some spices, licorice also comes up. Aftertaste turns to sour with berries and mild alcohol.

Bottle. Clear medium amber brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted. brown sugar, moderate to light heavy berry - prune acidic. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, with a light light sour ale alike after taste. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. (030408)

Nice amber color with a thin tan head. Thin bodied - the prickly carbonation takes away some residual softness. Nose of brown sugar, some pears and raisins. The hop flavor is almost non existent but bitterness keeps the sweetness in check (No alcohol notes - OK) Pretty interesting beer, but I wish the carbonation was lower it seems to detract from the the overall beer (same quibble as Rochefort 6)

Dark ruby color, big creamy beige head. Caramel, hops and blackcurrant in the nose. Quite watery palate, foamy carbonation. Light, not really caramelly or fruity as usual dubbel, but more dry, blackcurrant leaf hoppy. Some Rodenbach-tartness. Earthy notes. Light alcohol in the aftertaste. Quick and easy brew. And yes, the label is very beautiful.

Bottled. Dark brown coloured, huge head, highly effervescent. Caramel malts dominate the aroma, some bitternes shining through in finish. Mediocre at best.
