33cl bottle. Entertaining label. Rather average beer with noticeable alcohol flavour. Not bad, but nothing amazing.

Tasted 2007-04-20. Bottle, 33cl. Dark red/brown colour with a too big head. Aroma of metal, acid and caramel. Taste of yeast and metal. Not very balanced. Not a great beer!

Pours a mahogany colour with a huge tan head. Light yeast aroma, bread , malt. The taste is slightly sour, yeast, malt, and apparent alcohol. Thin mouthfeel. Meh.

Pours a cloudy amber-brown with a huge, loose-bubble off-white head. Slightly off aroma, metallic and yeasty. Fruity, tart taste at first - cherry and grape; opens up into a cookie/biscuit taste, slight roasted notes, some slight bittering hops. WAY overcarbonated, I had to use the old milk-frother trick to flatten it out a bit - the carbonation was severly limiting the taste. With an aggressive pour and a huge glass to hold the enormous head, this wouldn’t be such a bad beer.

Bottle. Muddy reddish coloration, with a nice brown head, consistent and persistent. High/average carbonation. Lightly bitter and salty taste. Notes of toasting and, maybe, nuts. Nice aroma. Perceivable alcohol.

Brown, immense rocky tan head. Plums/brown sugar nose. Fruity dark malt profile, with a lasting plum type finish. Gassy

Gotta first give credit - where does an artistic concept like a guy biting a pillar come from?

Reddish-brown colour. Big fluffy head. Rich brown sugar, plu, pear nose with abundant spicy, footy yeastiness. The body’s a little fizzy, hiding a light dusty yeast and sweet dark malts, dates. There’s a slight sharpness late - at this point its faint enough that it could just be alcohol but I worry. It’s got just enough character to be characterful but is still a fairly standard-issue brew.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium body with a heavy carbonation, sweetish roasted malts, some overripe fruit and alcohol. Some bittering hops in the finish. Decent. 080607
