On tap. Golden withh white head. Aroma is light malt. Flavor is very wheaty, but nothing special. This beer is overpriced.

Can. Very pale yellow with a frothy white head. Sharp cheesy malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor with a tangy, hoppy finish. Silky feel. OK.

Botlle. Sour malt aroma - slightly skunky. Light yellow color with moderate head. Sour malt flavor with moderate hops. Decent - nothing spectacular.

Even a country noted for excellent beer can produce a stinker. Perhaps it is the curse of the pilsener. This poured golden with a small and fleeting white head. The aroma, such as it was, is herbal and hoppy. Watery and dull in the mouth, the flavor was slightly bitter but thoroughly forgettable.

I must say I am disappointed to see one of my favorite pilsners with such a low rating. There is nothing extraordinary about Bavik, but considering the price and distinctiveness of the beer... Pours a typical light golden piss color with a small white head. Definitely a beer to drink after mowing the lawn or on a picnic, light, crisp, and has a slight thirst quenching tartness. Has some strange aromas I don’t normaly associate with a pils. Slightly fruity, some citrus, even a little green olive?Beats Stella any day of the week.

I found myself enjoying the sweetness and refreshing crispness of this beer. Very soft on the palate, light and refreshing. Somewhat grassy taste but clean. Could be consumed in large amounts on a hot day. Very refreshing!

Bottle. Pours yellow\gold with a moderate loose white head. Aroma of grain, sweet malts, slight herbalness. Flavor is bitter, grainy, weak. I was no fan of this beer, i leave it at that.

Pours a kind of cool hazy straw color. Taste is crisp with usual pilsner flavors, nothing overly bad, but no endearing qualities either. An annoying thing about the bottles is that, even if you handle them lightly, they tend to foam over when you pop the top off of them, so be careful. Otherwise, not bad for a pretty cheap beer, something that would be nice and refreshing on a warm day.
