Aroma is sweet, floral, and grassy. Flavor is light and sweet, very drinkable. Overall, once you get past the appearance, not a bad brew. porterdude (170), Bellingham, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2005 Quickly settled white head caps this yellow/straw colored brew. Smells rather astringent and malt. Dry mouthfeel, with a decent unskunky malt flavor. A decent HOT weather beer, but that is about it. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA

Lemon citrus aroma with fresh hay-like notes and a hint of bubble gum. Odd for a pilsner, but pleasant smelling. Flavor has a light nutty malt character with more citrus. Mostly dry with some definite bitterness in the finish, making this very crisp. Good hot weather refresher. The low ratings perplex me a bit. I enjoyed this on each of the three occasions I’ve had it.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2005 Pours a bight pale gold. Very fizzy. A very nice creamy head with heavy lace. Smell is lightly sour with a hint of hoppiness.
Tastes "bright", that’s the only way I can describe it. Light bodied and refreshing. Sweet apple undertones with hints of wild grass. Light hops aftertaste.
Not a beer that will knock your socks off but a bit better than some of the other reviews would indicate. Maybe it’s better out of the bottle. A solid european light lager.

The aroma is light and sweet and mildly grassy. The flavor has a moderate malt presence and a light sour tang on the finish. For the style it was acceptable but certainly not exceptional. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA
