Dec 29, 2009 Shrink-wrapped sixer. Very easy to find at most BevMo’s in California, I picked this up at the last second before heading out of a friends house. Aroma is clearly dominated by the citrusy orange/lemon angle. Body is a pale yellow golden color with a huge 2" off white merengue head. Very impressive looking in my Duvel glass. Very citrusy on the palate, with just a smidge of the classic corriander and lacking any pepperyness. Clean wheat malts seem to avoid any conflict with the citrus in this beer. Clean, crisp finish....easy drinking.

Very nice Belgian white. Drink with an orange slice.
Although nothing terribly complex about it, still one of my everyday favoriate beers, as I am partial to Belgian whites.

Overall Impression:
This is one I have had plenty of times before, so I’m surprised I haven’t rated it. This is the first time I’ve had this one in a while, so I figured I’d grab a glass on tap. Its a hazy yellow beer, typical look and feel for a Belgian White. A nice beer, clean, wheaty, drinkable.

Dec 20, 2009 Ok whitbier-aroma of lemon,wheat. Bready with some fruit. Decent carbonation and mouthfeel just seems a little light flavor-wise for a Belgian White. OK but for 9 bucks for these dinky cans, I’d rather spend the money on Hoegarden instead.

Nov 27, 2009 12oz can. Pours a hazy, dull whitish-yellow color; thin off-white head with patchy lacing. Light aroma of bananas, light clove, and lemon soda; very light nose; like seltzer water and hefeweizen. Medium mouthfeel: lively, fluffy carbonation; solid amounts of lemon seltzer water, bananas, and lightly toasted malts upfront; basic biscuity malts; light character overall, but, in all honesty, I could drink a fair amount of this; an effervescent, light witbier. Medium finish: toasty malts, light banana, a touch of light spiciness.
