| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 3, 2006 bottle at the FW Locals tasting - This has a light malt and spice aroma. The flavor is an unusual combination of lightly sweet malts, sour citrus, and spices. It’s a touch watery and salty, but I actually found it kind of refreshing. It’s not great, but it’s certainly different. johnnydollar (35), greenville, South Carolina, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 16, 2006 Bottled. Barnyard smell. Soapy aroma from the coriander, citrus and some salt. A very special beer. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 15, 2006 The aroma is a hearty grain accented bready affair with discernable salty notes that invoke a sea breeze. The body is a muted golden color with a rapidly diminishing finger thick head. Grainy fore, slightly tart and salty, but very thirst quenching with a sort of saturday morning bowl of ceral mixed with tart undeeripe salted chips thing going on. Interesting. very. larsga (2980), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Big creamy white head; hazy dark yellow body. Acidic coriander aroma. Taste is sweetish, acidic crisp, clear coriander with hop notes. Very clean and well balanced, with the coriander as the central feature of the taste. Salt is not really noticeable, unlike the Döllnitzer Gose. Still, a very well made beer. (0.3l on tap.) GregClow (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2006 Bottle sample at Union Beer Trade Tasting, NYC. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, pineapple, citrus and yeast. Flavour of tropical fruit and mild spice, with a slight saltiness, and some herbal notes in the finish. Interesting stuff. strings (361), Sydney, Australia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2006 On tap at Bayerischer Bahnhof. Not quite as nice as the Rittergutsgose, which I’d had earlier in the day. Seemed a bit less challenging and toned down. Still pretty good though. henrikb (1303), Aarhus, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Updated: Jul 26, 2007Draft - Beautiful hazy golden body, lasting creamy white head, thick patterns of lacing; Very big super fresh lemon nose, a very little salty warmth, coriander and a present yeast balances the aroma, great; Lemon acidy body, super fresh, a little 1-dimensional, soft carbonation on a body where the salt is almost not present; Lemon acidy sour finish, slightly salty, balanced, great, super fresh with lots of aroma, lemon, coriander seeds. Great super fresh beer, very different from the bottled version.
Bottle (7-4-6-3-16 = 3.6) - Beautiful hazy golden body, huge long lasting big bubbled head; Nice nose of citrus and a very little dry coriander seeds. It has depth but lacks clarity; Huge light big bubbled sparkle, it has quite some fill but only shows a very little acidity; It finishes with some length, a little citric harsh with lemon aromas. Very nice beer but it really lacks clarity, complexity and identity/personality to be able to compete with the Döllnitzer Gose.
