Pours murky orange-brown with a one-finger white head. Salty, lightly funky aroma with some Gueuze-like barnyard notes. A hint of caramel malt, as well. The flavor is a lot like a toned-down and salted-up Gueuze, beginning with the salt and a tiny hint of coriander and ending with a very light sourness. The salt comes back in the aftertaste. Thin and somewhat bland, but interesting nonetheless.

16.9 oz bottle into an English Pint glass. Pours a light golden yellow that is very clear with a very white medium foamy head that sticks around for most of the glass. Aroma is intensely sided on the coriander and somewhere in there is a pinch of salt. Nose also consists of a tiny bit of citrus, but is mainly taken over by the other aspects. Taste is a lot of the same of the nose with coriander, salt, a bit of other spices, yeast, and honey. Somewhat lightly tart near the finish. There is medium carbonation with this one. An interesting flavor that I’d definitely try again!

Tasted out of a 500 mL bullet shaped bottle. Foamy, fine beaded head on top of a gold/yellow body. LIghtly soured wheat flavors, just a hint of tart finish. Nice and creamy mothfeel. It has a hint of citrus flavor, presumably from the coriander, the salt isnt really noticeable except a light tingle at the tip/side of the tongue. Nice and refreshing.

This was my first try of the Gose style, and I must say I am impressed. The most interesting aspect is the mouthfeel. It has a dry refreshing summer wheat beer character but a fullness that is quite satifying. It has a light lemony wheat flavor that is alike american wheat beers but with coriander and some brettanomyces funk and acidity. It doesn’t necessarily taste like salt but a saltine like taste is detectable. Perfect for a lazy summer day.

Bottle. Light sour malt aroma - slight hint of coriander. Light yellow amber with small head. Primarily a sour wheat malt flavor - not near the sourness of a Berliner Weisse or lambic. Actually more like a good Zwickelbier. Very nice and smooth - glad I found this one

I have no idea why I liked this one so much (maybe cuz it cost me some bucks), but I reallly enjoyed it. Poured with a very large head, mostly from the high carbonation. The lacing was minimal, slightly hazy pale golden yellow (with light amber hues) color. The aroma was somewhat funky, barn, and sweet coriander. The flavor as incredibly refreshing: a wheat base (with barn / hay flavors), citrus flavors, lightly spiced and coriander. The lactic sourness was refreshing and enjoyable (ie. not overdone), much better than the berliner weiss beers I’ve had. A great choice for the summer, although expensive. Almost a cross between a saison, lambic, and berliner weiss.

Bottle poured pale straw with nice white head. Aroma has a slight noble hop aroma and coriander. Flavor has a sweetness fromt the wheat with a dry dry finish. The latic acid lingers on the palate.
