Oct 22, 2005 Bottle. Hazy golden beer with a big white head. Slightly sour, spicey aroma. Slightly tart flavor with some banana and low malts. Light, refreshing flavors. A bit of citrus. Easy drinking. Lactic acid definately present, but would have missed the wheat - not the typical wheat bite.

Oct 17, 2005 Sampled at RBESG 2005. Pale golden colour with a nice head. Some witbeer like with the aroma of wheat and coriands but the flavour comes out sour and salty overall a great taste.

Oct 7, 2005 Coriander and ginger aroma; sourish tast with coriander, wheat and citrus aromas; buttery, spicy finish.
It’s so strange to find a German beer with such a beautiful coriander aroma. As for the style, well, I hate to say it of such a nice beer, but I don’t think that it’s quite right. It is pretty close in style to a Belgian witbier, though a little darker in colour. My instinct tells me that the other Gose (brewed by Ernst Bauer) is the more authentic. This is still a very good beer, with flavours that are rarely found in Germany.

Oct 7, 2005 A very nice aroma and flavor. This has a nice spicyness and the addition of salt is certainly unique. A one-at-a0time beer. The saltiness ends up detracting from it in the end.

My first gose experience! Pours unclear yellow and a white head. Sour grainy aroma with an infected edge, odd but interesting. Light malty and creamy flavor with a note of lactic acid, sour but not tart. Like an infected ale (!?). I wish I hadn’t had so many other beers before this one, I will definately try to rerate it some day!

Oct 5, 2005 500ml. Bottle. Hazy amber color with a medium white head. Aroma of coriander, citrus and wheat malt. Mildly sweet wheat malt flavor initially, before turning dry on the finish. Lots of coriander and oranges in the taste also. Very aggressive carbonation. Very drinkable.

Oct 5, 2005 Lightly hazed amber with a cream colored head that began large and settled to a thick film. Caramel malt in the nose with coriander, mineral water and lemon. Multi-dimensional flavor starting sweetly malted, moving to middle hopcit and ending bitter, lemony and salty. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft, effervescent tickle. It took me a while to warm up to it, but it ended quite enjoyably. (I just wish mine came in that great lookin’ bottle as pictured.)
